A benefit was held April 28 – 29 at Phoenix
Perennials in Richmond, to raise funds for the HomeStart Foundation. The
organization is a non-profit Christian group which works in partnership
with more than 70 member agencies, to give donated home furnishings to
people in need.

HomeStart states its purpose is to “coordinate
needs with generosity. We pick up furniture, store it in our warehouse, and
then deliver the furnishings and household effects to those with specific
needs to enable them to establish a comfortable home environment.”
