A Christian scholar weighs in on Buddhist beliefs

There are so many holes in your argument it's laughable. Are you really a professor? This is what passes for critical thought? Even the Pope knows that the new testament was record hundreds of years after Christ's death, and from there translated countless times to fit the mood of the time. These are indisputable facts. The Bible is no more the word of God than "the earth is flat, and has at its centre a great mountain called Meru."

You are not a Buddhist and you do not have a right to say these biased things about Buddhism. One of the examples given was...
"Regarding the latter, Buddhists of all schools taught for centuries – based on the alleged words of Gautama – that the earth is flat, and has at its centre a great mountain called Meru."
Are you forgetting that Christianity taught, centuries ago, that the sun revolved around Earth and declared people like Copernicus heretics for even questioning it. So both religions are guilty of making mistakes in the feild of science. I aknowlegde that not ALL Christians agreed with this and not ALL Christians thought this, but most of the leaders of Christianity did. However you do not aknowledge that not all Buddhists think alike and believe and agree with everything about their religion. Not all Buddhist deny YOUR God. And you shouldn't use a book that was written in a language that is dead, that has been translated by biased people, and then argued over and changed countless times for centuries as proof that Buddhism is wrong, which is what is sounds like your doing. All religions are a path to heaven. I once heard some one say "The different religions of the world are like your fingers Christianity and Buddhism are far apart, just like you thumb and your little finger, but they branch off the same hand". I find that quote very fitting...

Right, and how do Dinosaurs fit into the Bible. Do you explain their extinction as a result of their inability to get on the Ark?
