White Rock Community Church is a Christ-centered and loving intergenerational church community seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant / Receptionist with a wholehearted desire to contribute to our church mission of helping people reach their God-given potential in Christ Jesus! The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist shall provide the pastors and congregational community with reception, clerical and administrative services. The primary set of administrative duties are to ensure accurate creation of Sunday publications such as bulletins, PowerPoint announcements, and chorus sheets, and to manage office communications through friendly telephone reception, processing of mail and emails, maintaining the master calendar, and coordinating facility use. The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist shall also look after database entries and maintenance, office supplies equipment, and the filing and storage systems.

Maintain and update filing, donation tracking, and database systems
Establish and manage electronic contact management system, including initial data entry work
Establish and manage a “bring forward” file system to ensure that the ED is provided with necessary briefing/preparatory material prior to meetings
Organize and handle the logistical arrangements related to special events: alumni events, annual fall fundraiser, board meetings, Spartan Foundation BOX, thank-you events, volunteer appreciation events, golf tournament, etc.
Create and produce a newsletter (three/year to start)

Education:

Experience:

Job Summary
Reporting to the Accountant, the Bookkeeper records the day-to-day financial transactions of Union Gospel Mission (comprised of five independent entities), processes full cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable, interacts with vendors and internal clients, reconciles sub-ledger works, provides financial services to residents (e.g. cashes cheques and collects rent), administers petty cash, and prepares daily bank deposits. Job Standards & Requirements
Education: Grade 12 High School, some post-secondary training, experience within a Church

(including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Power Point); Graphic Design (Adobe Suite),

GOALS

Job Summary
The Principal Giving Officer, Foundations (PGOF) reports to the Manager of Campaigns and is responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to foundations and government sources, including all relationship management.
