More Than Gold SNAPSHOT - Vancouver westside - Feb 22
Based out of University Chapel, Christians from churches on the west side of Vancouver have engaged with More Than Gold, and have been connecting with the many people coming and going from UBC's Olympic venue, Thunderbird Stadium. Today was a Women's Hockey semi-final game. MTG volunteers were on hand, and gave visitors hundreds of small red bags with literature and helpful items. In addition, there was face painting, and live music from the Regent College plaza. One popular item was the Olympic Torch; scores queued for up to 30 minutes to have their picture taken with it.
