THE mission of Taylor Seminary is to develop
Christ-minded leaders who make a difference in the world. Taylor is an
evangelical seminary providing masters degrees in theological studies,
pastoral leadership, intercultural studies, pastoral counseling and youth
ministry.
Underpinning our educational philosophy is an
understanding that we serve in a multicultural-context world.
Two faculty members anchor the Intercultural Studies
area; supervised ministry and an internship are required.
Many cross-cultural ministry opportunities are
available in the Edmonton area. The student body reflects a diverse mixture
of people from many denominations and countries. Graduates are serving
around the world in strategic ministry settings.
Taylor Seminary seeks:
to build academic foundations in the scriptures and
the Christian heritage;
to lead students to develop effective skills for
participation in ministry;
to place students confidently on a path in which the
integration of knowledge, skills and faith will continue to develop
throughout a lifetime of ministry.
Taylor Seminary offers flexibility to students wanting
to continue their studies. Distributed education – a combination of
online learning and campus-based courses – enables students to
continue their education from anywhere in the world.
Unclassified students taking courses out of personal
interest are always welcome.
Taylor Seminary shares a campus with Taylor University
College. This partnership provides additional benefits – athletics,
music, library facilities, mentoring, et cetera – for seminary
students.
To apply to a degree program, or to register as an
unclassified student for a few courses, contact Taylor admissions at
1-800-567-4988 ext 218 to speak with the seminary admissions counsellor. As
well, you can visit www.taylor-edu.ca to see what Taylor Seminary has to
