epicentre is a
multi-phase project for sharing the gospel with young people in Canadian
cities.
The vision of epicentre is to lead youth through a
process of spiritual growth, training and outreach.
You can help host epicentre in your city, through a local committee of leaders who
are passionate about reaching young people in their area.
Once this committee has been established, the Billy
Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada (BGEAC) can come alongside and
provide planning, communications, project management, follow-up and
financial support.
Over the course of several months, youth experience
leadership mentoring; intercessory prayer; worship events which will build
unity; and basic Christian discipleship.
This training is intended to lead to action, as youth
put their faith into practice and invite their friends to engage in a
two-weekend exploration of the Christian faith. A stadium concert outreach
called ignition will rally thousands of youth to hear the gospel message
with their friends.
Finally, youth who are feeling a growing desire to
continue their ministry will have a chance to participate in a
cross-cultural outreach project called global
velocity. Travel to Trinidad and Tobago, to
help lead an epicentre project which will bring hope to many.
