Providence Theological Seminary is an evangelical
interdenominational school which trains people for church and para-church
ministries – in the areas of counselling, education, global studies,
Bible and theology, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
and pastoral ministry. It offers accredited graduate degrees at the masters
and doctoral level.

Providence graduates serve in various church and
humanitarian ministries in all parts of the world, and have gone on to
various prestigious advanced degree programs in Canada and abroad.
Providence is located in Otterburne, Manitoba, Canada.
Founded in 1972, its purpose is to serve the church in
the accomplishment of its mission – by preparing and supporting
leaders, developing resources and facilitating theological reflection. The
seminary is part of the larger Providence College and Seminary family, a
learning community of more that 850 students.
Providence offers quality instruction which is fully
ATS accredited. We also offer online and other distance education
opportunities, available through audio-video (IDEAS) courses and at our
satellite centres in Winnipeg, Manitoba; Calgary, Alberta; and Cambridge,
Ontario.
