Samaritan’s Purse
Samaritan’s Purse

When you hear the words ‘shoe box,’ what comes to mind? Etnies, Nike, Keds?

What about changing the world?

Through Operation Christmas Child, shoe boxes which once housed sneakers and flats can become agents of change. Pack the boxes which held back-to-school shoes with toys, school supplies and hygiene items – and bring hope, joy and the message of Jesus’ love to needy kids all over the world.

“Jesus said to feed the hungry, clothe the naked and comfort the widowed,” said 18 year old Deborah Won, who packs shoe boxes every year.

“Unless we do so, we aren’t completely fulfilling our full purpose as Christians. Packing a shoe box is an act of loving Christ.”

So pack a shoe box, and join thousands of other young people across Canada who take the call of the Good Samaritan seriously – changing the world, one child at a time.
